Corporate Social Responsibility
Global Zen Sustainability is a certified Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) reporter that uses the GRI framework to promote a standardized approach to corporate social responsibility (CSR) reporting. We work with businesses and organizations to develop a reporting framework and produce CSR reports.
Sustainability reports based on the GRI Framework can be used to demonstrate organizational commitment to sustainable development, compare organizational performance over time and measure organizational performance with respect to laws, norms, standards and voluntary initiatives. (more)
Strategic Global Sustainability
What does sustainability mean? What’s the difference between being green and sustainability? Why should I invest my time and money? What are others doing? Is this just another flavor-of-the day trend? How do I create real value? So what, who cares?
These are some of the many questions that started our journey towards strategic sustainability. These questions are also the same questions we continue to ask our clients and ourselves as we accelerate towards un-sustainability.
As such, we help businesses, executives and organizational communities develop a strategic approach to their sustainability needs by keeping anchored to some of these key basic questions that we all ask about sustainability issues. Permaculture Design
Global Zen Sustainability consults, designs and teaches Permaculture. Permaculture is a design system based on a system of ethics and principles which can be used to establish, design, manage and improve all efforts made by individuals, households and communities towards a sustainable future. Permaculture design offers practical community-based solutions that are systems based and develop smart design for land and garden re-design, social re-design and habitat revitalization. (more)
Storytelling & Communication
We see storytelling communication as a special form of communication that creates positive results for individuals, groups, organizations, and communities. Some of the outcomes of our work with clients include increased communication competencies and an ability to tell stories that improve the whole system. (more)
